Leni Fried started the BagShare in 2007 and designed this logo. Over 30,000 bags have been made since then and the BagShare tree logo has been used on almost all of them. We encourage you to use it too!
The BagShare project is a worldwide movement. By using the same symbol, we are one voice and have more power. Use the tree on posters and publicity materials, t-shirts and whatever you want.

And ID tag is sewn on the front of each bag, designating it as a 'Use and Return' bag. The bags are borrowed when someone forgets their own bag and and returned to any BagShare location.
