Tags -

Tags are silk screened in Leni's studio. Each sheet is $1.80 and has 12 tags. Tags are cut out with pinking shears and sewn onto the front of every bag.

It's fun to fill out the tag:

"RETURN TO" - Fill in the name of your BagShare venue

"SEWN BY"
- The name of the sewer or their favorite alias (such as Al Gore, Bill McKibben, Jane Goodall, Mangari Maathi ... your call!)

"DONATED BY" - Name your sponsor, materials supplier or dedicate to someone you love

Bag Pusher - $18 (or FREE if you make it yourself)

This wooden form helps shorten the bag to half-size and prepare it for grommeting. You will need a straight-back chair without padding that will fit the pusher.

"Giraffe" Grommet Machine - $600

This is a custom made grommet press invented for The Bagshare Project by Mike Augspurger, an engineer, inventor and bicycle builder. It grommets the bottom of bags beautifully. If you can spring for this it’s worth it. It comes with a sturdy clamp and because it’s taller be sure and clamp it to the table before use. To purchase contact: leni@oldstonemillcenter.org or call 413 634-5591. Lifetime warranty

Hiker Stainless Steel Grommets: These are stronger and better than the after market grommets from Yescomusa.
They price out from .05- .07 cents each. They are more expensive, but worth the cost.
